I am ecstatic beyond words to announce that Rock Star earned the Utility Dog (UD) title! This was my proverbial brass ring! The AKC reported that Rock was one of only two dachshunds in the entire country in 2017 with this distinction! Training this program was a lot of work, but well worth it in the end! I am very proud of this awesome dog.
For those viewers unfamiliar with the UD title, it is the most challenging obedience class offered by the AKC. Only those dogs at the top level of their obedience training can successfully compete in the utility class.
We did it! We did it! Good boy, Rock Star!!
