We lost our beloved Bailey in August, 2008 at the age of seven. Bailey became ill in the prime of her life, as she was blasting through obedience and agility rankings for dachshunds in the country. At age five, she had been ranked #3 dachshund in agility in the country and was also listed in the top ten dachshunds in obedience. Her chance to compete at the coveted Nationals, after receiving a gold- inscribed invitation from the AKC, was never realized due to her illness. Although our hearts still ache for her love, companionship and willingness to take on great challenges, we have many wonderful memories and photos of her beauty and accomplishments. This page is dedicated to Bailey.

Bailey exceled in conformation (breed) competition. Just after her first birthday, she took her first MAJOR win under Judge Florise Hogan. Bailey proudly took Best of Variety under the late Judge Marie Ann Gladstone (above left). Much thanks to Judge Dan Smyth (above right) who selected Bailey for her second MAJOR show and her final point to finish her AKC CHAMPIONSHIP.
